I manage long-term and short-term projects for various individuals and organizations. I create educational and leadership resources and programs for all age groups within agricultural education and other industries and subject areas.I also guide writers as they bring the book in their heads to the page by facilitating story and content development and polishing language and grammar usage.

It was a true privilege to work for the National FFA Organization. As a senior educational consultant, I developed educational resources for teachers and FFA advisors and updated teacher resources each month in an html system. Not long after I was hired, I began to manage projects related to the creation of new and innovative tools for teachers and students, including the FFA Resume Generator and AgExplorer.

Beyond my normal duties as an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, I also served as the teacher expert in planning and implementing a Biotechnology Academy within the high school. This included collaborating with science teachers to create cross-curricular lessons and expanding and improving program facilities by writing and receiving grants.

In addition to my regular duties as an agriculture teacher and FFA advisor, I fostered a classroom environment that promoted student learning while maintaining student/teacher interaction and rapport. I was adept at integrating technology into the curriculum and managing a 1:1 classroom environment (with dual-platform experience). I increased community recognition and support of the program through radio interviews, newspaper articles, websites, and personal interaction with community organizations and obtained a grant to expand program facilities provide experiential and entrepreneurship learning experiences for animal science students.As part of my regular duties, I developed and implemented lesson plans for six courses and built a thriving FFA chapter that competed and placed in numerous competitive events, attended leadership conferences and conventions, and participated in community service opportunities.

I team taught various undergraduate courses, including a freshmen introductory course and a program planning course. I also assisted professors in conducting research and maintained multiple course web pages.

I drafted legal documents and conducted legal research for three attorneys in conjunction with the paralegal. I communicated with clients via phone and mailed correspondence and maintained and organized client files (both paper and electronic). I also managed and ordered supplies for the office and three attorneys and served as the receptionist and typist.

I served as an assistant to the director of development for the NC FFA Foundation. supporting agriculture teachers involved in a pilot program sponsored by an agribusiness corporation. I met regularly with the pilot program company representative to provide updates on the program. I monitored and maintained the project schedule, developed a website for the project, and compiled data from the program.
