I have completed an internship with Aurizon through the Corporate Partners in Excellence (CPIE) program. I gained experience in the Billing division.My duties included assisting in:-preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other internal documents, specifically in relation to properly keeping records of order requests-liaising and developing an understanding of key terms of contracts with Finance teams -developing and producing financial models using MS Excel, in particular models associated with revenue contracts, to operate for reconciliation and forecasting purposes-calculating various charges for aged receivables using MS Excel modelsI gained skills in:-understanding customer contracts and how revenue is derived-reading and understanding contracts to ensure correct terminology is applied from clauses to derive correct financial outcomes-understanding key revenue drivers-developing financial models in MS Excel
