I worked as the lead K-6th English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher at a private elementary school in Costa Rica, where I developed the K-6th ESL curricula, including tests, homework, and book reports, and produced a student-run English-language short film festival.

At Ramah Day Camp, I was responsible for the safety and well-being of 10-50 children ranging from ages 4-11 during a multitude of activities including art, sports, and swim. My after-camp responsibilities included camp-wide event- and trip-planning.

I taught English to Taiwanese students in two Beginner-level classes and one 4th-level class for 1.5-2 hours each every afternoon, for a total of 20 teaching hours per week. I also taught classes during the school's Winter and Summer camps, and substitute-taught a set of new students during the first week of the following school year. My beginner-level students were able to read short books by the end of the year.

I taught English to Israeli middle school students in a small group setting. I was also responsible for coordinating and executing a school-wide English Day for Grades 1-8, which included rewriting The Wizard of Oz into a level-appropriate play for a 7th grade English as a Foreign Language class.Once a week I took part in coordinating a conversational English club for adults aged 17 to 60.

I wrote articles and stories for the Engineering satire magazine.
