Responsibilities include complete oversight of Warehouse, Transportation and Procurement functions for this High -End Special Markets Distributor.Report directly to the CEO.Achievements include:1) Successfully converted warehouse operations from a manual methodology to a bar coded system that allows automated Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Cycle Counts, BIN transfers and general Item Lookup. 2) Negotiated reduce freight rates with Parcel Carriers lowering small package freight spend by 3%.3) Work with new and existing International Forwarders ensuring outbound and inbound shipments clear customers with little to no delays. Product is shipped world-wide with heavy concentration in Mexico, Caribbean and Asia. Strong working knowledge of International Transportation requirements. 4) Implemented reports and weekly sales meetings that allow company wide discussions on inventory positions for all items purchased. These discussions include: slow moving items, customer deposit backed inventory positions, required purchases and review of Back Ordered situations.5) Part of a 3 member team that detailed scope, tested and installed a new ERP system (NetSuite).6) Established contacts with all vendors and negotiated pricing while formally establishing a business relationship. Meet with higher volume vendors quarterly to discuss operational metric performance.

Responsibilites include: maintain and manage inventory of all assets stored in our 17 warehouses nationwide, develop and maintain Asset Tracking software providing field operations the ability to track and account for all equipment, locate warehouse operations and negotiate leases as determined by Sr. Leadership, negotiate fleet vehicle options company wide, corporate oversight of OSHA /safety compliance at each of our locations and transportation of all equipment/supplies as needed during area-wide-emergency events.

Directed Company-wide operations to include: Warehousing, Sales and Accounting. In 6 short months SCOTT Distribution matured from a non-profit status into a profitable revenue generating company. Signing new accounts and increased business from existing accounts drove the process. SCOTT Distribution expanded into a 2nd warehouse of 110,000 sq.ft. providing 3 PL solutions for a leading apparel manufacturer.

Managed a 787,000 Sq. Ft. 3PL DC shipping Del Monte Food products throughout the South East and various offshore countries.

Responsibilities included: Multi-site Management ($40-$50M in warehouse budgets) , P&L oversight, customer relationships, 3PL pricing /contracts and business expansion.Green Belt Six Sigma certified.

Managed Distribution Operations for the Polo Ralph Lauren off-price division (Factory Outlets of America). Additional responsibilities include: Corporate Quality Control and Vendor Compliance.
