I have been in the manufacturing business for over 25 years starting as a machinist making rollers for Polaroid cameras and thermostat needles for cars, then as tool crib attendent, I was then put in charge of Purchasing and Materials Management, Forklift operator/ trainer, Hazadous waste management and part time truck driver/company delivery. After some time I was promoted to Purchasing Manager. I left this company for future challenges where I became Manufacturing Manager at a Surgical implant manufacturer making cranial and bone implants. I was there only about two years when the owner decided to sell the business and get out. I then, after some debate, decided to go out on my own where I now own my own machine shop.Specialties: A wide variety of purchasing and management savy. Now owning my own shop have learned waterjet cutting, CNC programming, Job quoting, Machine repair and maintenance as well as all the rest of owning a business.
