I was responsible for Business Development for the company by marketing the relocation services of Capitol Moving and United Van Lines to Human Resource Directors, Purchasing Agents, Transportation Department Managers, and Third Party Relocation Companies.This position required that I learn all aspects of a corporate transfer and how a Third Party company could reduce the transferee and the corporation's tax liability by bundling together a number of real estate related services. Real estate agents fees, closing attorneys, temporary living accommodations, spousal employment assistance for the spouse, long distance moving services, homeowners insurance, and residential mortgage financing services were some of the services that were bundled together for tax advantages.This experience led me to provide the same types of discounted services for ALL employees of a corporation, not just their transferees through HomeBenefitIQ, a no cost voluntary employee benefit program that I offer to corporations today.
