Red Transport & Logistics BV is a West African Project Logistics / Chartering Specialist, focusing on Oil & Gas and Mining Industries. In this fairly young company my main responsibilities were: Planning, Development and Promotion of Oil & Gas related services in both Air, Sea and Logistics to/from West Africa* Operational implementation of new customers including establishment of KPI’s * Maintain access to key decision makers and establish coach network* Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the teams* Development of product strategy for further competitiveness / sales power increase* Expansion of a worldwide agent network by signing non-exclusive agency contracts * Responsible for profitable revenue growth of all Products & Services within the company’s profileusing knowledge of the market and competitors, identifying and developing the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators for creating market growth* Tender control and responsibility* Legal & commercial responsible for all Projects and Oil & Gas business conducted in West Africa

Key areas of accountability and deliverables:* To execute strategic trade lane procurement based on the capacity plans provided by local airfreight – and Tradelane Managers * Set up the capacity planning (allotments, BSA, consolidation share) based on the chosen carrier strategy* To drive capacity Management / Allotment optimization * Analyze cargo flows / cargo mix / consolidation benefit / GP out of Area* Develop, drive and monitor corrective actions in case of deviations of actual Air Freight Product* Track local area procurement execution in order to optimize ideal cost of sale* Provide bid support by giving input to Corporate Tender Management on buying rates, consolidation opportunities, and network constraints

Global Product Head Sea-Air - DHL Global ForwardingKey areas of accountability and deliverables:* Product Innovation with regard to “gateways and routes”* Monitor performance (productivity; quality of service, data, subcontractors; incident management) and initiate, implement and control corrective actions* Supervising, motivating and monitoring sales teams* Setting budgets and targets * Validate Market Selling Rates (MSR) / pricing concept proposed by Area Sales and resolve discrepancies Corporate Trade Lane Management and Procurement* Provide and drive bid support by giving input to Global and Local Sales teams

Key areas of accountability and deliverables:* Planning of regional account development visits by continuously improving and coordinating the defined KPI’s. That includes setting/challenging the standards (definition of best practices, developing and maintaining cookbooks, etc), identifying gaps to the standards (leading workshops, coordinating site audits), developing training materials to help close gaps and ensure that operations is well equipment to work accordingly* RFI/RFQ handling* Planning and hunting for new customers in co-ordination with the Global Executive Sales Team* Liaising with the operational managers* Implementation of new products (*) (*) During the period in my BDM role as “Product Manager I was responsible for setting up an European Import hub at Luxembourg. Concept was based on “Allotment optimization” for import flows engaged with and European trucking network

Management of driving a profitable and scalable business for a defined group of Exel’s largest Multinational Accounts in defined sectors.

The responsibility was based on commercial and operational management of a group of 25 persons. During this period my main objective was to get the import department profitable. I managed to get this job done by implementing following parameters:o Front and back office o Implemented X-dock set-up at Schiphol linked to an European Road Feeder service based on different service levels

Operational supervision for the inbound and outbound flows between USA and TheNetherlands including Branch Management position at Hilversum. Total span of control 17 FTE.

Freight Forwarding activities. Highlight were the Olympic games in Seoul where I was responsible for the Dutch Olympic Team for all the in-outbound movements Air and Sea.
