As Lead Video Production Editor, I introduced serious motion graphics to the PR firm's capabilities, quickened workflow turnaround by over 35% & hence rejuvinated departmental respect, edited over 400 30- and 60-second Video News Releases--- earning respect for our previously lackluster Department from Account Executives who'd long since abandoned hope of quality or fast-turnaround from the department. Moreover, above and beyond my job responsibilities, I examined the books from the 13 year history of the department, compiling a detailed searchable database of all the thousands of jobs done in the departmental history, organizing capability to research by video topic (health, auto, nutrition, etc.) or by client, and ultimately utilized that database to compile lists of the department's biggest clients. I gathered & authored DVDs for the 20 largest clients in the departments history--- each showing all the work ever done for that client, and presented the DVDs as "business calling cards" to Account Executives to give them the impetus to call the upon the previous clients. The project, an extraneous tangent of our day to day responsibilities, brought in over $600,000 in new business.
