Served as a Senior Research Director with Intel Labs Advance Research Group leading a highly diverse talented engineering team composed of hardware, software and FPGA engineers in building future research prototypes to accelerate promising future technologies. Managed a multi-million dollar prototyping team built from the ground up over an 8-year period across geographies (Oregon and Guadalajara, Mexico). A rich and long history in building innovative inventions from autonomous driving simulators, IOT research platforms, wearables, multi-array vision systems, drones, micro-servers, Lohi neuromorphic and quantum compute research platforms.In 2001, as a corporate technical advisor to Intel’s executive vice president, assisted in the formation of Intel’s Software and Solutions Group (SSG) resulting in a 1500 software engineering organization broadening Intel’s open-source software relevance influencing Intel silicon features development specifically enabling and defending the Linux community to include delivery of solution blueprints with Intel’s corporate marketing organization.Since re-joining Intel back in 1989, held numerous roles including strategic business development, chief of staff, management of major executive account alliances, operations management, technology evangelist, and Information Technology manager. Personally influenced and driven Intel corporate strategic initiatives from advancing Intel platforms into the data center to launching innovative consumer products. Performs annual resource and budget planning with spending responsibility in managing multi-million dollar annual budgets.
