I was responsible for the commissioning of health services for a large & mixed population. The services ranged from acute, community, primary care and specialist mental health.

I had professional responsibilities for nursing. I also worked to the deputy director of finance at the NHS Executive on matters to do with NHS efficiency.

I worked on a wide range of value for money studies in the NHS including A&E departments in England & Scotland and outpatient services.
