In addition to maintaining the duties of a Project Engineer, as Project Manager I am responsible for the execution and supervision of multiple Civil Engineering projects. I oversee the work done by Project Engineers and Design Engineers. In addition, I assist the Principals by writing proposals and negotiating fees with Clients.

As Project Engineer, my responsibilities included performing engineering analysis and calculations necessary to develop a constructible set of drawings. When necessary I prepared scope narratives, engineering reports, and quantity takeoffs. I participated in construction administration, including responding to RFIs and materials submittals, in addition to conducting periodic site visits as needed.

As Design Engineer I assisted the Project Engineers in the developement of construction documents through CAD support, engineering calculations, and due diligence.

Civil engineering design and management of new and existing facilities with emphasis on:• Site development• Grading• Drainage• Roadway design• ADA path of travel requirements• On-site traffic circulation and parking• Public works improvements• Pavement design and evaluation• Storm water management (SUSMP & SWPPP)• Site sustainable design (LEEDS and CHPS)• Underground utilities (sanitary sewer, storm drain)

Performed O&M (operations and maintenance) to active environmental remediation technologies including:• Chemical augmentation• Biological induction & enhancement• Soil vapor extraction (thermal oxidation)• Pump & treatThese technologies were implemented in facilities impacted by concentrations of pollution and contaminants in soil and groundwater. Majority of sites were existing Shell gas stations or former gas stations.

• Performed hardware & software repair and upgrades to laptops rented out to students throughout campus (247 total).• Provided users with support related to issues with personal computers/laptops and equipment in the computer lab.
