My activities are 2 folded- Sustainable Steel Trading at STEEL XSIn 2020 I founded SCALDIS TRADING BV in The Netherlands on a mission to sustainable source steel products for our customers. We source excess and/or over stocks of new and re-usable steel (non-prime, 2nd choice) in flat (coils, sheet, heavy plate) and round steel products and sell it to companies who can still use this material as-is and therefore we prevent the material from being scrapped and remelted and we save tons of CO2 on a yearly basis. Since 2024 we joined forces with Belgian Trading company STEEL XS, who is a similar mission.- Smart Investor at Bergsteen.vcAt Bergsteen.vc we invest in companies mainly active in production or trading of physical products for B2B or B2B2C in an international context. I support the founders by co-investing and helping them out with their finance based on my experience in running a high capital intensive trading company.
