The Work Measurement Director oversees Industrial Engineering (IE) work methods and measurement processes for UPS. Presents work method and measurement recommendations to senior management to implement new and efficient operating procedures. This position manages the internal assessment process for domestic and international UPS sites. Chairs and participates in steering committees to organize and implement corporate-driven safety, operational, and automotive projects. This position manages Work Measurement Section Managers and Corporate Industrial Engineering Assessors.

Director of Engineering for the Northern Plains District for UPS. Facilitate team operational exception discussions and conducts plan reviews with the district team to identify areas for operational performance improvement. Implement new application tools to ensure business objectives are met. Deploy implementation teams to district sites to improve operational results. Validate operating plans, monitors results, and follows up with Operations to ensure results are consistent and achieved and contingency plans are in place. Coordinates meetings and communicates operating plans to district teams to ensure awareness of district and organizational goals and direction. This group includes IE Operations Support for our Small Package, Transportation and Air Network, Quality Control, Training, Asset Management, Short-Term and Long-Term Facility Planning, Customer Support and Profit management, Work Measurement and Operational Goal Setting.As member of the District Business Planning Unit, oversee the operational results for the five states, and determine strategic direction of the District.
