As Chief Technology Officer, I am responsible for establishing and executing PerkUp’s technical vision and leading all aspects of PerkUp's technological development in addition to advising the President/Founder in both technical and business strategies playing an integral role in PerkUp’s strategic direction, development, and future growth. I lead the development and implementation of both software and IT architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs. I contract and work with all key vendors and outsourced development team members. Key accomplishments and activities to date:• Successful and rapid knowledge transition of the entire bespoke platform from previous CTO by digging deep and hands-on review.• Documentation of major technical aspects of the platform (did not previously exist) and implementation of a more rigorous software development life cycle.• Design and facilitation of numerous improvements moving away from manual configuration to user-friendly configuration that can be driven by the PerkUp admins via our bespoke Admin Portal.• Facilitation and effort resulting in SOC2 Type 1 and SOC2 Type 2 engagements which included a significant effort to produce all workflow, technical, platform documentation and artifacts to support each engagement. • Technical direction of the integration migration from Adobe Sign from SOAP to REST.• Strategic review and positioning to move to a white label banking partner which involved an extensive review, due diligence, and implementation period.• Worked with our application penetration testing vendor on an inaugural engagement follow up to remediate all issues.

Promoted within 6 months for exceeding goals and exhibiting leadership-level decision-making. As Senior Director, oversight was expanded to all software development teams in the New Orleans software hub (70 people) working on multiple business critical applications with a multi-million dollar annual budget. • Plan strategic and tactical project activities with the CIO for Software Engineering, coordinating project work with offshore leaders• Provide extensive career guidance / conversations for individuals at varying career levels, and conduct employee reviews with the site HR manager and CIO• Directly manage several software development teams by providing specific support and guidance regarding their deliverables

As Senior Manager, served as a People Leader for 27 people building business critical applications supporting financials, field operations, and support.• Identified as a supportive, effective, and impactful manager; provided mentoring and promoted career awareness to all direct reports • Partnered with other leaders to manage the whole development group which included a 6 month transition from horizontal to vertical organization aligning with GE’s businesses• Collaborated with site leadership team and multiple affinity leaders in promoting and supporting initiatives to keep and attract talent, improve equity within the site, and further enhance the site’s exuberant culture

As Senior Manager, involved serving as People Leader for software development team (19 people) supporting Baker Hughes GE (GE’s Oil and Gas division) software engineering group in New Orleans.• Provided managerial and site leadership for technical teams and projects guiding the careers of my team’s members• Team support included hiring and mentoring people of various roles within the software development teams • Supported peer leaders in other GE verticals (Power, Aviation) by successfully transitioning numerous GE Digital teams during a difficult period of business realignment• Site leadership relied on my opinions and support regarding implementation of various site-wide initiatives to maintain a positive culture in the face of difficult and challenging times

NXXIO was a startup with a team of technology experts focused on the evolving challenges and continuous opportunities in the healthcare marketplace providing a SaaS-based technology that improves the operations, revenue, cost, and compliance associated with running a medical laboratory business.As Senior Integrations Engineer I was brought on to support the hospital lab commercialization program working with development team. A future goal would have been to build out the integration group but unfortunately the venture ended in June 2018.• Supporting the hospital commercialization program by building integrations and implementing process governance• Supported business implementation analysts with client/internal projects in NXXIO's proprietary, event-driven platform and other open-source software

Maintain overall responsibility for developing software, provide ongoing support for services projects, and participate in strategic planning for sales and marketing teams. Provided product support for SAP, Oracle, InfoPlus.21, and Maximo, serving major clients such as DuPont, Ameriven, and Celanese. TIBCO BusinessWorks was primarily used for integration projects. Business travel has included Venezuela, the Netherlands, and various client sites within the U.S. Promoted from Staff Consultant to Senior Staff Consultant in 2002 to maximize course development and training. Assigned to project design and development for the Manufacturing & Supply Chain Integration Group utilizing TIBCO, webMethods, SAP, Aspentech products, and other software.

Hired as Network Communications Consultant with a wide range of IT responsibilities for the University Computing & Communications Department. Maintained the departmental NT-based lab, assisted in planning and procurement of new equipment, and performed various consulting duties. Created and maintained UNO’s Internet Services (including WWW & FTP sites), developed CGI programs and related utilities, and trained / supported representatives from each department responsible for creating web-based content and information.
