Seeing a deep need for better technical training for programmers and systems analysts, Ed was a co-founder and EVP of DELTAK, Inc. (now part of Skillsoft). As a technology training pioneer, DELTAK provided major corporations with job-proven, self-paced, multi-media training that built immediately usable technical skills as needed where needed. Over 1,000 corporations worldwide became DELTAK customers, prior to its acquisition by Prentice Hall Publishing. Subsequent to DELTAK, Ed joined the executive team of Zenger-Miller, Inc., then a young firm focused on advancing the art and science of management development. The firm grew rapidly and became renown globally for the quality and results of its research-based management development training, skilled and devoted people, and healthy culture. Ed served as the CEO of Zenger Miller (now Achieve Global) for many years. He helped grow the company into a premier name brand in management development, with over 4,000 corporate clients worldwide. After Zenger Miller was acquired by the Times Mirror Company, Ed was a Division President with that media giant for several years, before joining Mandel Communications.
