TEAM WORK: I have worked in various types of teams, made of different cultural levels, ages, seniority in job. MEDIATING SKILLS: I find myself always “on borders of something”, also in my intercultural marriage. Being on one side and on the other, in terms of different point of views, makes things more ‘relational’ or relative but also makes it easier to sympathize and understand each other. Running different projects in my previous jobs with people with different skills and interests and views improved my communication and mediating skills. INTERCULTURAL SKILLS: always been attracted by diversity in general. Also my university studies, the study of anthropology, study of foreign languages and cultures in general, my training in the subject of education, the town where I live in, they are all placed on borders somehow. MANAGEMENT SKILLS: I’ve been coordinating team of employees, whether it was a sales team or a back-office team. In another job I was mainly involved into projects with no stable teams to manage, to be more specific my work was more project-based with mediations and cooperations with staff and subsidiaries in general .ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS: all the projects I have been in charge of consisted of organizing resources, whether people or infrastructure. Since my first job I’ve found organizational issues very interesting and motivating, having to cope with people and orientation to change, new developments and so on. In another company I was given the responsibility of Quality Assurance, a role never implemented before. It gave me the opportunity of analyzing the work-flow, not only inside the head office, but in all the branches and departments. I then improved my skills into “finding the shortest way to do something”, i.e. efficiency, but also trying to implement a stable ground for quality, working methods etc. In the consultancy work I am doing right now I cross competences of sales, technical expertise, training, administration,etc.
