Leads Materials Management area as well as Warehouse operations of TenarisBayCity plant, ensuring the purchasing strategy fulfilment, maximizing cost effectiveness, participating in key contracts negotiation, monitoring customer satisfaction, guaranteeing the continuous improvement of the purchasing process and logistic management.Contributing to optimal product sourcing, providing quality assurance for the purchasing process and logistic chain.Manage Materials distribution from warehouse to final location as well as assure the Warehouses operations are performed in compliance with HSE policies and regulation, Inventory control, cost optimization, process efficiency and execution excellence.Supervising team of material planners and warehouse/logistic professionals.

Responsible for full management of 5 site locations in US, under stand-by conditions. Develop and control fix and variable cost, minimizing expenses and maximizing efficiency.Coordinate maintenance activities, logistics operations, procurement processes as well as define/implement HSE standards and procedures. Develop best practices, implement IT system applications and common processes, along the different sites.Supervise local teams of professionals for each facility.

In charge for logistic operations of TenarisBayCity facility: finished products warehouses, service/distribution centers (RigDirectTM), internal logistics, multi-site management.Process streamlining and organization, continuous improvements projecting. Focus and responsibility on delivery performance andservice level, operations efficiency and quality, safety, service centers planning/programming activities.Supervising a team of 80 people, from operators to managers.

Responsible for the design and technical solutions, implementation, start-up of all logistics infrastructures and operations of a greenfield new industrial pipes manufacturing plant in USA, Texas (TenarisBayCity).State-of-the-art facility, high automated plant, dedicated to oil&gas business.Full responsibility of definition for internal/external logistics activities, managed on trucks, rails, vessels, including technical specifications design, suppliers scouting and expediting, contracts negotiation.

• Warehouse management- Manage warehouse operations cycle, from materials planning, reception and storage, to dispatch to end user, ensuring that spare parts and raw materials are kept in optimum conditions, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. - Control the costs of the area in accordance with the budget assigned.- Propose new investment, projects, identifying improvement opportunities in the area. • Health, Safety & Environment- Generate a safe work environment, participating in health and safety objectives, set, define and implement programs and actions applicable to the area of responsibility for continual improvement of health and safety performance.- Ensure the application and development of safety standards and compliance with environmental practices/legislation

• Production Scheduling operations - Planning and programming through the management of operative production programs for all the lines. Scope:- Maximize efficency, productivity, and customer service.- Minimize time and costs. - Optimization and control of the production sequence using a specific software .- Management of semi-finished products and order management intercompany.- Management and control of intermediate stocks and buffers (WIP).- Management control through specific KPI. • Long Term Agreement Management- Design and implementation of management system, in accordance with the customers’ needs (Inventory Management, Demand planning, Supply Chain Management, Kanban, Lean Manufacturing).- Production process sequence optimization.- Programming and management of sub-contractors, as a part of the production flow. • Project Management- Projects with the scope of develop new and more efficient technics for the production scheduling and increase the efficiency in the our logistic process.- Re-engineering of the organization and the methodologies used in programming area with the objective to optimize all the internal resources in term of time, number and productivity.

• Project, development and implementation of procedures in order to increase safety, efficiency and productivity in the operative area.• Operative management of product warehouse area, management of load and unload activities, organize and plan internal movements and stocks, ensure material for the production lines.• Operative management of components center area, management of the production of components for automotive industries and hydraulic cylinders applications. • Coordination and management of operative shifts.• Management of the costs budget (fixed and variable) under my responsibility.

• Coordinate the activities of orders acceptance / scheduling and operative programming of the production for the service centers (production facilities, handling and warehouse activities).• Management of information flow between the order entry and production/warehouse .• Participation to the design and management of logistic agreements with the main customers.• Projects of resizing and optimization of the logistic network.

• Planning and management of stocks , supplies and optimization of logistic flows (Inventory Management).• Previsions and analysis of possible scenarios and evolutions of the products demand (Demand Planning & Forecasting).• Development of a new Inventory Management platform, based on the one new software able to increase the optimization and efficiency in the inventory process (DPM).
