Here I was able to take a longer commitment than my previous experiences. In these six months I was given the opportunity to take on a larger variety and quantity of tasks, which in turn led to an increase in responsibility taken within the role.

First experience after my graduation. In my brief time at the gallery, cut short due to a relocation process, I was able to take on a host of opportunities which helped enhance learned skills and provided me a platform through set tasks and initiatives taken to learn new ones.Here I was able to familiarise myself with all the relative administrative applications and software such as Artlogic and Artnet, but also given the opportunity to show visitors and by extension potential or existing clients around the gallery space hugely improving my confidence in both communication and knowledge of the art in the gallery space.This was done along some of the more general tasks an intern would do which included- Research projects on clients and artworks- Starting to learn how to catalogue artworks- Filing and scanning invoices from the gallery card on to administrative software such as Egnyte- Helping set up and cater private events hosted by the gallery- Use of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and CAD software- Set up for exhibition (including occasional moving and hanging of artworks)
