Drive and support the delivery of consultancy projects on energy access for marginalised and vulnerable people in developing countries and in the context of displacement (i.e. refugee camps). Key responsibilities:- To lead project management activities for the Poor People Energy Outlook, delivering the overall qualitative analysis and leading the in-country activities (Togo, Kenya, Bangladesh, Nepal), developing in-house photography products and delivering in-country qualitative research, including technical trainings, multi-stakeholders workshops, capacity building and technology transfer initiatives.- Project management responsibilities, including budgets and contract management, logistics arrangements, and the coordination of the field implementation team to ensure efficient project execution based on time, cost, quality and quantity parameters.- Project evaluation and monitoring through the preparation of baseline studies, due diligence reports, briefing papers, socio-economic feasibility appraisals and business plans.- To perform qualitative studies of unmet energy demands through detailed baseline analysis, including surveys, field interviews, focus group discussions, multi-stakeholder workshops and the assessment of household and community energy patterns.- Help win and deliver new consultancy work by identifying opportunities and supporting proposal development, including developing concept notes, writing proposals, developing budgets, and managing external associates.
