Senior Backup AdministratorFednot Jan 2011 - Oct 2018Brussels Area, BelgiumI’ve been taking care of the Backup environment single handedly since 2011 using IBM’s Spectrum Protect (TSM) backup solution. The park has grown from 80 servers to over 600 servers and have a wide range of systems to back up. Linux and Windows but also Databases, mail servers and SAP HANA servers.I currently manage three Backup servers and a tape library. We have replication between the servers and copy to tape. I am hoping for an upgrade to come soon so that I can leverage new features offered by Spectrum Protect such as better compression, container-pools, backups to cloud-containers, etc.I have written a few scripts to simplify some of the daily tasks and maintenance cycle. -
