First-generation, goal-oriented entry-level software engineer with strong Computer Science fundamentals, ready to deliver world-class results that contribute to the engineering culture of a company. My experience as an educator serving underrepresented communities in the Greater Los Angeles area fostered a creativity in me that allowed me to develop software engineering ideals that are creative yet pragmatic. In the course of completing my Master's degree, I developed a profound interest in the field of Software Engineering using classic programming languages such as Java and C++ while also experimenting with "exotic" languages such as Python and Ocaml. However, I have found a home among the classics while also incorporating C# into the mix. I feel this combination should be useful in software development.My educational experience allowed me to develop a deep intellectual passion for advanced concepts such as software design patterns as well as the behavioral analysis of complex systems. I do enjoy thinking abstractly about software problems, which I view as "challenges" more than "problems." I also enjoy using my intellectual skills to break down large systems into component parts to gain a deeper insight of how they function as a whole, as well as to find the hidden thread(s) that connect entire systems together. I enjoy analyzing hypothetical systems as well as practical systems. I firmly believe there is no system that cannot be broken down for analysis. I'll approach this type of analysis from a Computer Science/Software Engineering perspective, to see what can be learned about the system's behavior. My career ambitions are to transition from my current role as an educator, to a position that allows me to make a profound impact in the company I work for, by participating in the full lifecycle of software application development. I also aspire to design new technologies or improve upon current technologies to allow the company that hires me, to maintain a competitive edge as well as a thriving engineering and business culture. I'm a firm believer in pushing intellectual ability and technology beyond their limits.Thank you.
