Prototyping, design, development, maintenance and user-support of software components managing diverse and complex vehicle range using a proprietary, knowledge-compilation-based technology.Activity mainly focused on digital marketing (2011 - 2016) : - Designed, developed and promoted innovative web configuration engine : main data-driven web API handling business rules & pricing that efficiently powers Renault's and Nissan's web configurators.- Helped Renault digital marketing team design efficient and comprehensive vehicle configurator. Researched and evaluated new technologies. Co-wrote a scientific paper presented to the 9th Extended Semantic Web Conference (2012) about principles of the web configuration engine described above.- Designed and implemented an in-memory, column-oriented, distributed database for real-time queries and updates over Renault's vehicle inventory.- Designed and prototyped an innovative predictive vehicle navigation algorithm using different machine learning techniques.Activity mainly focused on sales and supply-chain (2006 - 2011) : - Implemented core component of a decision support SW to manage plant planning consistent with plant capacity constraints and commercial sales forecasts. Helped users define their requirements, modeled the mathematical problem in order to interface it with the IBM Cplex optimization SW package.- Designed and developed SW package to compute total vehicle cost based on complex, variable pricing rules.- Re-engineered core technology components from C to Java, improving speed by a factor of 2 to 8.- Optimized core technology areas to reduce memory-footprint by a factor of 10 to 400.- Maintained vehicle documentation SW for outbound logistics and commercial applications.
