Generative AI is beginning to weave its way across all of Meta's products. In this role, I am responsible for supporting a team of engineers, designers, researchers and data scientists building Meta's internal developer platform for generative AI. The platform enables Meta's product teams to build generative AI features into their products responsibly and quickly, even without specialised AI experience.

Responsible for safety and privacy for Meta's text-based generative AI products, including Meta AI and AI personas. In this role, I led a large cross-Meta team across engineering, design, data science, policy and legal to implement an effective, comprehensive set of safety mitigations including scaled red-teaming, model-based detection and training, human review and escalation processes, and measurement frameworks. This resulted in a safe, responsible launch of Meta's first suite of consumer generative AI products across WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram.

In this role, I was responsible for managing a team of product managers developing new ways for creators to connect and engage with their fans. My team has been responsible for multiple 0-to-1 bets, including Digital Collectibles (NFTs) and Gifts, a new way for fans to appreciate their favourite creators. As one of the first product hires for Instagram in London, I was also responsible for growing a high-performing, collaborative team from the ground-up, build a culture of craft and user-centric thinking.

In this role, I was one of the key product managers responsible for our safety efforts across Messenger and Instagram Direct, primarily focused on child safety, hate speech, harassment and inclusion. Working with a large team of engineers, designers, researchers, data scientists and policy experts, we built new products and optimised existing tools to make Messenger and Instagram safer and more inclusive, helping our users feel welcome, valued and in control. As the first product hire for Messenger in London, I was also responsible for growing the team from 0 to 50+, and developing a multi-year strategy and roadmap for the org.

I was responsible for building and scaling the Security team at TransferWise, ensuring our customers money and data was kept safe. I was also responsible for KYC product, focusing on Enhance Due Diligence. I led cross-functional efforts to mitigate the risk of high-risk businesses and customers, while still ensuring a convenient experience for all users.

Responsible for development of native iOS applications at Splittable and related backend infrastructure. Splittable is a web, iOS and Android app helping the world’s growing population of young renters manage their shared expenses. Founded in the Open Data Institute in 2014, Splittable is backed by some of the leading technology investors in Europe.
