Held various Leading Chief Petty Officer (LCPO) positions within Communication Department at sea and ashore, managing up to 60 divisional personnel who are responsible for the handling, distribution, and storage of upwards of 3,000 classified and unclassified data and voice messages per day. Held the additional position of Communication Material System (CMS) Custodian at various commands (9 years total). Position is responsible for reception, storage, distribution, and destruction of all classified and unclassified communication equipment and accompanying codes/keylists. Filled role of in-country CMS (cache account) Custodian for entire designated combat area at sea and ashore during all Desert Shield/Storm campaigns (1990-91). Held Top Secret security clearance entire career. Ten years shipboard/sea duty. Ships include USS Oklahoma City (CG-5), USS Midway (CV-41), and USS Nimitz (CVN-68). Parts of eleven years stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, two years on Guam, and two years and five months in Bahrain during Operations Earnest Will, Desert Shield, and Desert Storm. Stationed overseas 15+ years total. Travels include visiting 30+ countries throughout Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
