An outgoing and social software programmer with over 20 years’ experience designing and implementing software solutions. I am a very organised and motivated person, with a genuine interest in technology and programming. I have a history of successfully tackling even the most complicated projects, with formal training or extensive experience in a large range of technologies.I have worked in a number of different roles: as a programmer in a large team, as a lead developer, running a development team, as the owner of a business, and as a freelance consultant. This diversity of both experience and of the type and scope of projects tackled has given me a huge repertoire of knowledge to bring to any job.I have been working with .NET since version 1, most recently working on an MVC project based on .NET 4.5, MVC 5, and Entity Framework 6. Alongside these projects, I have also obtained Microsoft certification for my existing skills, and further improved my interpersonal skills by achieving certification in leadership and public speaking with Toastmasters International.I am happy to work as part of a team - supplementing a hole in the skill set or transferring knowledge, but equally at ease taking responsible for the entire delivery of software solutions - incorporating all stages of the development lifecycle.In my spare time I am a keen snowboarder, and enjoy trapeze and circus skills. I am also a proficient cook and enjoy cycling when I can.
