United States Air Force veteran working in broadcast television engineering since 1992. The USAF technical training provided a solid electronics and RF technology during my enlistment while working for Space Command. USAF Accommodation Medal, National Service Defense Medal. When I left the military in 1992, I took a position in Tallahassee, FL with Satellite & Production Services providing satellite earth station engineering and editing support for CBS NewsPath Southeast Regional office. While there, I operated a mobile c-band & a ku-band satellite uplink truck uplinking sports, news and entertainment events across the country. In May of 1997 I moved on to a new position with Walt Disney World, Disney Production Services on the backlot of MGM Studios. While at Disney I provided engineering support in a studio environment, remote television production truck as well as an air-transportable "flypack" system. In 2001 I joined National Mobile Television as an EIC on remote production trucks. There were numerous regional & national events over the years. In 2002 I tech managed the Central American Caribbean Games for FoxSports on behalf of NMT covering 7 venues & an international broadcast center managing an engineering crew of 40+ staff & freelance engineers and technicians over the course of 2 weeks. In 2004 I took a position with F & F Productions in Clearwater, FL. I was the EIC of remote trucks. 5 NBC NHL Stanley Cups, Olympic coverage for the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010, 12 seasons of NFL on Fox and 2 NBC NHL Winter Classics as the lead engineer. April 2017 I left the full time “road life” for a position as Sr. Design Engineer for Comprehensive Technical Group in Atlanta, GA. During my tenure at CTG, I designed, commissioned and maintained 1080P SDI, HDR and mixed vendor SMPTE 2110 systems for professional NBA & NHL teams as well as ESPN linear control rooms for numerous universities. In May of 2019 I took on the roll as Director of Engineering for CTG leading the broadcast and AV engineering staff as well as joining the company management team. February 2020 I joined Lawo as a Project Manager. It was amazing being a part of Lawo’s dynamic team & using my experience & expertise to continue the company’s growth and success!
