Ed Pollock is the Chief Information Security Officer for STERIS, a $5B global leader in infection prevention, contamination control, surgical and critical care technologies headquartered in Mentor, OH. He built and oversees STERIS’s worldwide cyber security strategy and the enterprise security program, operations, and services. Ed has over 30 years of experience in IT covering program management, software development, operations, including 20 years’ experience in cybersecurity. Ed is a member and former chair of Bitsight Technologies’ Customer Advisory Board. He is an active member of Infragard, CSOXchange, and Northeast Ohio CyberConsortium (Board Member). Ed was an Advisory Board Member for the State of Ohio’s CyberOhio initiative and is a member of a local hospital’s Cyber Security Committee. He presented at various security conferences, including MITSI InfoSec World. His security certifications include the CISSP-ISSMP and the CISM.Prior to working at STERIS, Ed served as an officer in the US Air Force where he worked as a Systems Integration Engineer at the Standard Systems Center in Montgomery, AL and as the Deputy Chief of the Applications Services Division for the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, OH.
