My recent work focuses on transforming enterprise healthcare software delivery from project-centric to scaled agile delivery organizations. Key to success is my ability to work gracefully within and beyond the existing organization to align delivery for market winning capabilities. The world has grown both larger and smaller. The globally connected world creates incredible complexity and along with new opportunity. It is also compelling us to accommodate one another across diversity ranges that have never been attempted before. There is no roadmap for this transition. We have to figure it out together. I've worked in numerous countries, met presidents and kings, and helped a lot of people and organization realize their potential. I've worked deeply in five industries; oil exploration, civil engineering/GPS, local government/GIS, telecommunications and now healthcare. The similarity of organizational challenges far exceeds their uniqueness. Everyone struggles with "attract & retain"​, forecasting anything, clear mission and consistent execution. Getting to be number one or two in your industry requires balancing many different drivers.I have included in my LinkedIn contacts someone from each country on the planet. This all started from a very light-hearted point of view; it's just seemed to be a cool thing to do. From a much more serious point of view, this is a very complicated world we are all moving into and leveraging a community of mentors provides the chance to understand what is going on from someone who is there.The world is changing so fast, and the change is just going to get faster.
