Reporting to the Enterprise (Global) Director of EHS, lead enterprise EHS programs and processes including the occupational/industrial hygiene (IH) process, global compliance initiatives and the EHS early career development programs.• Provide authoring, functional expertise, technical direction and leadership for corporate standards and programs, including IH Assessment, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Chemical Management, Materials Approval Process, Hazard Communication, PSM, Risk Recognition/Control, LOTO/CHE, Recordkeeping, Machine Guarding, Hot Work, etc as well as substance specific IH programs such as Respirable Crystalline Silica. • Direct the selection and activities of professional, certified IH vendors and accredited IH laboratories and manage associated contracts/relationships.• Leads the selection, development and delivery of effective, common, global information management systems for chemical management and occupational hygiene and exposure assessment.• Advises corporate, business unit and plant management of new or modified regulations that impact the business.• Represents Owens Corning’s interests through IH committee and task force participation on trade associations (NAIMA/ARMA).• Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to the OC, EHS, early career development program (EHSLP) designed to maintain a pipeline of EHS talent into the organization. This program accelerates development of early career additions to the EHS function via a structured process of guidance and support using a mix of coaching, mentorship and technical skills development.• Participate as a member of the OC EHS Leadership Committee which is chaired by the VP of EHSS / Chief Sustainability Officer. The purpose of EH&S Leadership Council, through its guidance and leadership, is to animate OC core values and beliefs throughout the company such that they make a tangible difference in the personal and professional lives of all OC employees.

Develop and lead safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene and environmental programs and processes at an OSHA PSM, RMP and Title V covered manufacturing and distribution center that deliver tangible results and focus on leading indicators and risk minimization.• Lead, develop and maintain EHS programs that exceed the requirements of applicable safety policies / governmental regulations and produce measurable improvement in both leading and lagging indicators.• Lead, audit and develop plant observation processes focused on eliminating the upstream precursors to injuries and near misses.• Perform plant and equipment audits to identify pre-injury trends, determine compliance with established safety/health regulations and implement appropriate actions.• Develop and conduct EHS training for plant employees, contractors and visitors.• Lead and ensure plant compliance with all elements of the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) rule.• Identify trends and assist leadership with resource allocation decisions based on risk and cost/benefit.• Maintain and provide on-site expertise for all applicable regulations.• Lead EHS Capital Projects from concept to completion and provide EHS review, input and approval to all capital projects and significant expense projects.• Facility LSO and RSO

• Develop, manage, and lead IH&S programs and policies in support of a health and safety focused business culture at PPG coatings and resins (C&R) facilities located in Delaware, Ohio, and Kenosha, WI as well as at domestic warehouse locations and business development centers across the US.• Lead joint Union/Salaried committees in support of EHS goals including risk identification, hazard assessment, incident investigation, ergonomics, catalyst handling and asbestos management• Provide technical expertise in the areas of health and safety (confined space, LOTO, Hot work, HazCom, Bonding/Grounding systems, spill response, incident investigation, OSHA record-keeping, industrial hygiene, hearing conservation, ventilation, etc) to the Delaware facility, the Kenosha, WI facility and a network of C&R Warehouses, training centers and sales associates.• Oversee plant security including a contracted guard service.• Manage Facility Health, Safety, Security and Fire Protection Budgets• Lead and participate as a full-member of the on-site structural fire brigade and oversee all aspects of the plant fire suppression systems operations and maintenance.• Support facility Environmental programs as necessary.• Provide occasional consultation in the areas of Six Sigma (Sigma Logic) tools, statistical tools and quality processes as necessary.
