Appointed to manage global distribution channel sales for this leader in the digital programmable logical device (PLD/FPGA) market. Direct the design, implementation and execution of worldwide distribution channel strategies and corporate business plans, and coordinate with channel marketing personnel on the development of marketing plans that are focused on distributor channel demand creation. Provide conflict resolution and function as the primary interface on quarterly/annual business review and driving/executing the corporate vision with Xilinix and senior distributor channel management. Work cooperatively with Xilinix sales management to ensure consistent execution across geographies. · Increased territory from $60 million to over $500 million over a six-year period by implementing a program to identify key markets and a program to develop the business. · Directed and managed the growth of Memec worldwide from $500 million to $1 billion. · Ignited Memec worldwide market share to over 50% in each product category (eight worldwide distributors; two global distributors). · Developed an exclusive technology agreement with Memec for PCI. Provided Memec with the source code to develop their own solution for PCI to our mutual customers. · Instituted a dedicated DFAE program and a pay-for-performance method that rewarded distribution for demand creation activity, additionally, created a margin model to reduce COS by 60+ million.
