Directed all activities for the Mathiston plant which is made up of 45 employees. Accountable for all measurables for the plant including but not limited to Safety, Quality, Productivity. Additionally, championed all safety and environmental activities. Maintained proper staffing levels by department for 6 manufacturing departments on an ongoing basis as required by product demand. Directed the successful startup of an independent quality department which reported directly to me. Began a system of reviewing all finished goods products on a monthly basis for quality and cost performance.

Managed over 12 electrical, mechanical, software/industrial engineers and maintenance technicians while relocating 9 high volume automated assembly lines from Camden, AR to Reynosa, MX

Organized and led the best performing product team in the company with responsibility for production, maintenance, scheduling, quality, systems/industrial engineering and manufacturing engineering. Produced 8,500,000 driver energetic assemblies of various configurations annually. Held P&L responsibility for the team of 180 employees.

Coordinated all QC activities for inflator energetic assemblies. Developed and implemented automated quality checks for both product and process characteristics. Managed a department of 8 quality and process engineers and 6 QC technicians.

Led the design and purchase of 7 new automated assembly lines. This equated to more than $7,000,000.00 in capital expenditures. Hired and trained manufacturing and quality engineers needed for the new equipment and processes.

Managed a department of 10 process engineers, 3 quality engineers and 20 QC technicians. Directed all QC functions including the test labs and receiving inspection. Utilized team based methodology to identify root cause and identify opportunity for improvement.
