Instructor Associate for the Data Science Fundamentals class and Data Visualization class offered to adult learners and current employees (1000+ and counting) of General Assembly's Consumer and Enterprise clients in the consulting, insurance, and software space.• Assisting with in-class and remote courses, teaching data science (Python, SQL), data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, and Tableau) and machine learning concepts to analytically-minded working professionals and adult learners.• Administer office hours for students outside of class time to provide support to help students complete labs for new and challenging concepts, as well as help bring struggling students back up to speed and offer new challenges for students who are excelling.• Grade all projects for students and provide constructive feedback on their Python deployability, accuracy, readability, performance, accuracy, etc.• Communicate constantly with students, our instructional team, and General Assembly administrators to ensure the best possible student experience!

• Recruited for start-up organization to help write career training plans for technicians, process engineers, and various members of the organization.• Offer consultant services to coordinate on-the-job training aides and guidelines for specifications.• Carefully work to meet ISO Audit Standards for the organization to run successfully.• Maintain a clean and safe working environment for Fab Room Floor and Office Area.• Lead, mentor, and offer guidance for new and current employees regarding successful business operations. • Oversaw approximately 14-18 compressed shift employees including process and associate engineers, process and maintenance technicians, wafer fab operators, and contractors. • Acted as a point of contact for all items related to human resources including payroll, hiring, training, salary, and disciplinary reviews as needed.• Evaluated the abilities and skills of current staff, implementing plans for cross-training, organized work assignments, work flow, and delegated responsibilities based on employee strengths. Provided training and employee development as needed to increase the technical and soft skills of the staff.• Consistently met process yield, electrical, defect density, and cycle time goals including daily shift activities and fab outs.

• Supervised approximately 13 employees including process technicians, wafer fab operators, and contractors. Recruited, hired, trained, mentored, and evaluated all staff offering merit increases as appropriate.• Solved technical and logistical issues within module consistent of the overall organizational goals. • Verified all staff was equipped with appropriate tools, software, and hardware to complete assigned tasks.• Actively worked to maximize efficiency while preserving the safety and reputation of the organization.
