After acquiring valuable experience over the course of more than 20 years in manufacturing, I took the opportunity to apply that experience to the safety field. My experience with the physical aspect of performing the work gives me a leg up on others when it comes to the implementation and real-world applications of safety policies. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University and am a highly driven individual who strives to meet a goal once it is set.I have been a part of numerous Kaizen events within my company and have received training in lean manufacturing. Tapping into my experience on the floor has allowed me to become adept at hazard identification and taking a proactive approach to injury prevention.One of my strongest assets is that I connect well with people and develop personal relationships that help to promote buy-in from the workforce.
