Our story is defined by hard work, perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit, and remains the cornerstone of Badec Bros to this day.Starting small, thinking bigIt all started with a young boy chasing dreams of big developments and hotels. He delivered lots of newspapers, fixed bikes and later sold caps on the beachfront, and eventually got the opportunity to install his first irrigation system.The Kingfisher storyEdrich Badenhorst started his irrigation system business when he was only 17, trading under Kingfisher Irrigation. Travelling in a pumpkin yellow Toyota Tazz, Edrich and his brother Frans worked tirelessly to serve the community’s irrigation needs.An ever-growing familyWith years of hands-on experience, dedication and a growing family, Kingfisher branched out into landscaping and mosaic in 2002. The end result was a one-stop shop that continues to lead the industry with compassion and cutting-edge design.Defining the futureBadec Bros. (Pty) Ltd as the holding company was established in 2006 followed by Badec Bros. Deco and Badec Bros. Property in 2007, and 2016 respectively. With new developments in the pipeline and a drive to always stay at the forefront of innovation, we are excited to continue building the future of Badec Bros.
