Manage Security Program and Ensure Physical Security of all Personnel and Material for DOD contractor site to include multiple Warehouses, Repair and Test Facilities. Act as Security Subject Matter Expert for Operations Management. Design and act as Project Manager to implement company owned Electronic Security Systems. Manage enterprise Access Control System. Participate in Anti-Terrorism Force Protection training. Act as POC for Federal and local LE. Give onsite and offsite classes to insure Security Best Practices are adhered to.

Responsible for submitting electronic Questionnaires for Investigation Processing (e-QIP) through the Defense Office of Industrial Security Department to the Office of Personnel Management to initiate background investigations for DoD Security Clearance applicants. Monitored the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) Database to ensure Periodic Reinvestigations were begun in a timely manner. Ensured adherence to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (DoD 5220.22-M). Submitted Visit Authorization Letters to government agencies for visiting cleared contractor personnel, ensuring appropriate security orientation and training of newly-cleared contractor personnel, and maintaining all appropriate records. Mentored contract specific site Security Officers to ensure they became familiar with and compliant with the NISPOM and other applicable security regulations. Provided Initial Security Briefings and periodic refresher security training to personnel granted a Security Clearance by the Defense Security Service (DSS). Coordinated closely with assigned DSS Industrial Security Representative regarding DSS issues, reports of Adverse Information, Unauthorized Disclosures and Security Violations pursuant to the NISPOM. Ensured compliance with DoD, DSS and other agency pertinent security directives as the need arose.

As a Lead Transportation Security Officer (LTSO), I was responsible for leading at least three full-performance level Transportation Security Officers (TSOs), and as assigned, trainee and apprentice level TSOs. As an LTSO, I identified, distributed, and balanced workloads and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow and skill levels. I made adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities. Duties included but were not limited to: • Resolving simple, informal complaints of employees and referring others such as formal grievances and appeals to the supervisor, or an appropriate management official; and serving as coach, facilitator, and negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members. • Providing input to supervisors and managers concerning a variety of human resources matters including, but not limited to, employee performance, promotions, reassignments, awards, etc. • Training team members, monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work, and representing the team in communications with the supervisor or manager for the purpose of obtaining resources (e.g., computer hardware and software, etc.). • Assisting management and Law Enforcement Officers (LEO) with inquiries for information or investigations that may be initiated against a regulated party; participating in information briefings concerning sensitive information. • Developing preliminary incident information for LEOs and superiors, and writing various types of communications, reports, and documents that are germane to the work performed.
