He served as Conservation Director at Palmer Land Conservancy for four years, leading the organization’s cutting-edge water conservation efforts on Colorado’s lower Arkansas River. Prior to Palmer, he was a ranch broker and worked extensively throughout Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. He has also served on boards and committees for a wide range of conservation organizations in Colorado.Strenuous outdoor adventure has always been a cornerstone of Ed’s life. He has summited Alaska’s Denali, Argentina’s Aconcagua, and the majority of Colorado’s 14,000-foot mountains. He’s a comically slow ultramarathoner and has completed numerous 100 and 50-mile runs in the mountains... and occasionally around his neighborhood. In his downtime, he’s a voracious reader who unintentionally developed a devoted following among fellow bibliophiles and publishers who look forward to his book recommendations and reading lists.Ed is a proud graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School’s (NOLS) Semester in the Pacific Northwest.
