Responsible for technical supervision of yachts under management ensuring that they are operated and maintained in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. This includes follow up of the vessels’ certification and maintenance, review and follow up of defect reports, attendance for class and flag surveys, and oversight of refits and planned maintenance systems.

Following an internal promotion I am now responsible for ensuring that the technical operation of the Monaco managed fleet meets the performance standards established for each yacht within the established budget.To ensure the safe operation of the fleet in compliance with regulatory requirements, standards and company policies.Coordination of Technical Superintendents, harmonisation of reporting, and reviewing activities and performance.

I was appointed as an approved Flagstate Surveyor covering the western Mediterranean region for Maritime Cook Islands Ship Registry.

I subcontracted my services to Monaco Marine at their La Ciotat shipyard to project manage the refits on the 43 metre CRN motor yacht 'Kate', the 73 metre Feadship 'Predator' and the classic Feadship 'Monaco'.

I was engaged as on-site representative by YPI Management on behalf of the owner to manage a major refit in Cairns, Australia, on the 47 metre motor yacht Aquamarina. I liaised with the shipyard and outside contractors, oversaw the work, prepared the project budget and monitored costs, and reported regularly on progress.

Invited to carry out an in-depth study of the shipyard’s Quality Standards and Controls from the ‘End-User’ perspective, and to make recommendations with a view to reducing Warranty Claims and improving the reputation of the shipyard and the product

Served first as Chief Engineer and later as Captain on a number of yacht ranging from a high tech 25m. Sloop through to a 50m. classic Feadship.
