Implementing features and fixes for a variety of television broadcasting and digital signage products using C++, Java.- Reduced the time for distributed servers to synchronize their clocks from 10 minutes to less than 30 seconds by implementing a PID controller and improving adherence to the Precision Time Protocol (PTP) standard.- Eliminated regressions being introduced into a legacy product by setting up CI (Jenkins) and unit testing, and coaching the team on how to put legacy code under test.- Volunteered to maintain and fix critical customer issues in legacy products, many with codebases the organization had considered near impossible to understand or compile.
