With nearly 4M active cards, PRESTO now collects nearly $2B in fare payments annually and supports 1.5M boardings daily. Hired to transform PRESTO from a small, unpopular, localized transit farecard system into a state-of-the-art, user-friendly, and universally accepted transit payment system for the GTHA and Ottawa regions - a population of over 5 million. Successfully implemented the $400M PRESTO program at the Toronto Transit Commission, North America’s 3rd largest transit agency, and Union Pearson Express, Canada's first dedicated air-rail link. Built a high performance delivery organization (65 FTE, 300+ vendor onshore and offshore resources), managing a $150M annual capital program, and providing oversight over the vendor delivery of hardware, software, civil works and datacentre infrastructure.

Varied engagements: Was engaged to rescue a troubled 5 year client relationship with the Insurance Bureau of Canada ($50M+) by leading a heroic $3.5M remediation engagement that successfully relaunched the Health Claims for Auto Insurance system to reduce accident health claims fraud in the auto insurance industry by automating the workflow processing of 2.5M claim forms and $2B in health care services annually.When TD acquired Banknorth and Commerce Bancorp in the US, I was engaged to facilitate a $1M (25 FTEs; 2 months) engagement in developing joint application requirements for the operations merger of the two very culturally different US banks. Was the technical lead in the implementation of a $4M customization (40-50 FTEs; 8 months) of a Canadian mortgage software platform for Filogix, an up-and-coming Australian mortage application service provider.
