About Edson Barbero
Career that sought to align academic depth with business applicability. Graduated in Production Engineering (1999) and Master (2003) and PHd (2008) in Administration at the University of São Paulo. In terms of my research activities, I have published 2 books, 16 book chapters and 7 scientific papers (160 CAPES points in the last quadrennium). Yet as I researcher, I´ve supervised about 40 Master thesis and I am leader of the Business Strategy area in some of the most important academic congresses in Brazil. Besides this research perspective, I am considered as a sucessfull MBA Professor. I am an invited professor at Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), FECAP, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, EAESP-FGV, Fundação Dom Cabral, EACH-USP and Saint Paul School of Business. In this activity, I´ve received more than 40 awards as "Best Professor". In addition to this academic performance, I have worked as a business consultant for almost 20 years. Among the companies for which I have already provided services include: IFS, Senac, Razzo, LG, Samsung, Google, Microsoft among many others.In terms of my personal profile, I am considered by my peers as a good communicator with above-average analytical skills. Personal hobbies: Boardgames and Music.
