Logistics And Operations Specialist
Current• Coordination of logistics according to contract conditions, with factories, suppliers, customers and/or warehouses.• Bargaining with the shipping agents or other service providers in order to minimize logistics costs.• Following information flow between all related units of Trade & Logistics like sales department overseas offices, plants, finance-accounting department, Trade finance and tax department.• Monitoring data management to keep accurate product, contract, pricing and invoicing information• Ensure compliance with all regulatory aspects (Customs, VAT etc.) in collaboration with respective support departments.• Ensure storage and process contract are diligently managed (quantities, financial, customs etc.).• Identify the cause of any encountered operational problems and ensure resolution trough coordination with all affected stakeholders, mitigating costs and consequences for the group.• Involvement in the set-up of new flows after acquisition of new plants.• Stock management in warehouses.• Organizing just in time deliveries from warehouses to the customers.• Managing all problems related to operation in SAP with Sales, Accounting and Tax departments.• Insuring risk of each transports (Vessels, trucks, etc.) and submit damage reports to insurers and compile and follow claim files.• Arrange financing for new trades and ensure financing banks receive updates as required and in time.• Searching for alternative ways to reduce the costs and maximize the efficiency of operations.
