I am a technology, media & marketing executive known for running fast growth, innovative technology and media companies. My current start up, Citate.ai, provides AI Intelligence tools that help our clients understand and react to problems and opportunities with GenAI platforms. Since 2009, I have also the CEO of Buzzr.com, a digital media & marketing agency, and its sister agency, WhiteHatWiki.com, the most prominent corporate Wikipedia consultancy in the world. I was the EVP of Mansueto Ventures, a $70m media company; president of FastCompany.com and Inc.com (increasing revenue >600%); Managing Director for business websites at Gruner & Jahr USA (a division of Bertelsmann) and Executive Editor of Inc. Magazine.Buzzr.com is a data-driven content marketing agency with expertise in branding, strategy, story telling, audience growth, optimization and scaling. At WhiteHatWiki.com, our team of Wikipedia experts, academics and senior journalists have helped hundreds of clients. I started Buzzr as a SaaS CMS (built on top of open source Drupal) offering white label and self-service website building solutions. I have advised some of the world's most interesting organizations, such as American Express OPEN, Monster.com, Dell, Lincoln Center, Taboola and Cision on subjects such as branding, native advertising, content and content marketing. As Executive VP of Mansueto Ventures (Inc. and Fast Company magazines), I oversaw digital media, conferences and business development. I simultaneously served as president of Mansueto Digital (FastCompany.com, Inc.com and IncTechnology.com.) I directly managed editorial, sales, marketing, technology, design and partnerships for the websites. Grew from team of 4 to about 60 with conference staff. Under my leadership, FastCompany.com became the first mainstream media website tightly integrating journalism and socially-generated content. This was the first major commercial deployment of Drupal. We created significant new technology for the platform. I also created IncTechnology.com and Fast Company.TV, with Robert Scoble. I created and ran the the Inc. 5,000 list of fast-growth private companies. A journalist for 20 years, I was the Executive Editor of Inc. Magazine, and Senior Editor of both Worth and P.O.V. magazines. I started out writing for the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Times. I also worked as a law clerk to two federal judges.
