Kearl Expansion Project ( Opp )

› Successfully achieved 0 LTI’s relating to the site specific work scope for the duration of the project › Coordinated the completion of 1,300 loops relating to all (I & C) specific work scope for both dry and wet boundaries in the OPP Silo with a multi-discipline specialist team.› Delegated work activities to over 40 Technicians and 4 Leads on a daily basis through a sub-system and equipment ownership process.› Attended daily schedule alignment meetings with the client and Silo PM to discuss targets, progress and the mitigation of issues identified throughout the day. › Lead the completion of all associated sub-system dry logic and cause & effects testing, enabling successful dynamic commissioning runs of all major equipment. › Managed the review and delivery of each fully commissioned system to the client, liaising with the construction contractor to clear all documented punches prior to handover.› Successfully lead a multi-discipline dynamic commissioning team on the major components of the OPP Silo, including Surge / Slurry Prep Feed Conveyors, Double-Roll Crusher and Hydro-transport stations.› Dictated permit issuing on daily tasks with multi-discipline contractors through an area authority and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS’s) IOL process.

Responsible for Commissioning and Start-up of the biggest relocation project of its kind ever undertaken. It inolved the relocation of two entire trains for a period of 65 days per train,. The project finished both ahead of schedule and under budget.

› Lead a team of (I & C) commissioning technicians in areas relating to solvent waste distribution, atmospheric conditioning, building management systems, access control and Honeywell automated processes.› Reported daily progress to the designated Silo Specialist as well as facilitating efficient cross shift handovers.› Fully commissioned the Simplex fire suppressions systems for the entire Maintenance Support Facility.
