I started in the game industry in 1992, becoming the first 3D artist/animator at both Interplay and Disney Interactive. I went on to build a successful career as a 3D generalist at Squaresoft, Sony Development, and other independent studios. In 2004 I helped form an art outsourcing studio to leverage the growing international pool of artists. Later joined THQ, Vivendi Games and Foundation 9 to establish their respective outsourcing divisions, driving the external art process for dozens of game developers. In 2009, I formed Mr3D to help independent developers with everything from art outsourcing to art & creative direction. I became the first external art director hired by Playdom to visually develop two award-winning and multi-million user games: City of Wonder and Gardens of Time. Since then I co-founded Rabbx, a game development company with a development team in China. I went on to establish the interactive divisions at Loot Crate (www.lootcrate.com) and Creator Ink (www.creatorink.com) to explore creative digital strategies to improve customer engagement.While it may not seem I have one particular focus, if I were to sum it up it would be "craft exciting user experiences." Digital art may have been my main outlet over the years but simply put, I was born to be creative.
