· Act as Product Structure Manager for the CAD environment, taking ownership and implementing improvements on the 3D model database, work package integration, configuration control and design procedures.· Perform mechanical and structural design engineering duties to support the various aircraft modification projects within ITPS. This includes the design of airframe components and the integration of system equipment.· Create 3D models, 2D drawings and layouts using SolidWorks.· Reverse engineering of various aircraft types and components using detailed measurements and 3D Scanning to build the CAD framework (masterlines, skeletons) for design concept modelling.· Propose and implement techniques with design for manufacturing for metallic and composite structures.· Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team of varying fields and contribute to design reviews and certification documentation.

- Analyze the customer's given parameters to design packaging to meet the customer requirements. - Assist and drive concept development. - Complete all necessary drawings including isometric view in an accurate, timely fashion. - Check engineering drawings when required. - Assist in building prototype racks. - Through design and research, help come up with cost-saving initiatives. - Generate RFQ’s for projects, enter pricing when received, and update the pricing in the BOM.- Assist with purchasing materials. - Assist with following up with material suppliers deliveries, and updating project schedules.- Perform mechanical take-offs of racks when required. - Develop bills of materials for racks when required.- Assistance in the development of new products when appropriate. - Assist in monitoring the quality of racks. - Work with other engineers as well as production staff to establish our product requirements.- Answer phones as required and consult with clients.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, or study sample parts to determinemachining operation to be performed with an understanding of geometric tolerances anddimensions.- Operate CNC lathes, mills, other machining centers, and hand tools with care andproficiency.- Read and interpret engineering drawings.- Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of machine tools including computer numericallycontrolled (CNC) tools to perform precision machining.- Intermediate knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and theapplication of such instruments (should include calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depthgages, and indicators).

- Development and revision of technical manuals (AMM - Aircraft Maintenance Manual), SB (Service Bulletin), CMM (Component Maintenance Manual).- Development of technical drawings and illustrated parts breakdowns for technical manuals using CAD softwares.- Fully understand of engineering drawings, test reports, schematic diagrams and repair procedures.- Solid knowledge of ATA 2200 standards, Microstaion, Catia, and IsoDraw.- Provided technical support to operators.
