As a Plant Technician at Procter & Gamble, I learned how to operate, maintain, and inspect various machines and processes in the Treatment, Sharpening, and Packaging departments, ensuring high quality and efficiency. I was responsible for producing, cleaning, and testing blades, as well as packaging them for the customers.I have a strong background in environmental science, with a BA degree from Wesleyan University and a staff assessor role at Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. I conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, authored technical reports, and managed and organized data. I also have research experience in paleoclimate, which I presented at the Ronald E. McNair National Symposium and the Polar Marine Diatom Workshop, winning the award for best undergraduate talk. I am passionate about improving science communication and motivating young scientists from underrepresented and low income backgrounds.
