About Eduardo Tavcar

After more than 20 years in the oil & gas sector, where I held regional and global roles in sales, marketing, R&D and consultancy, in 2011, I started my journey in decision sciences. Since then and with focus on advanced decision-support software, I gained ample experience in the design and use of these tools while providing extensive coaching and training to multidisciplinary teams responsible for complex decisions in contexts of uncertainty in high-profile projects.Based on that experience, a year and a half ago, together with Valeria, we established Decided Better Inc. to develop and market state-of-the-art full-probabilistic modelling and simulation technology. Our dScerner suite enables companies, in fields as diverse as pharma, mining, infrastructure, maritime and air transportation, agriculture and general manufacturing to produce valuable insights based on the comparison of strategies and concepts under their whole range of possible outcomes.Married and father of 3, I am marine engineer, studied business administration and enjoy jazz, motorbikes, travelling and cooking for friends and family.
