As a PetroVR Specialist (1), I advised multi-functional teams on problem identification and representation in dynamic and integrated PetroVR models, enabling them to support high quality decisions based on the insights and outcomes of stochastic results. I was involved in some of the most important projects in the North Sea ranging from short term solutions for production enhancement to long term assets reconfiguration and decommissioning as well as in other initiatives with focus in the US, Kazakhstan and Kurdistan. (1) PetroVR is a probabilistic and integrative modelling system designed to support technical and economic decisions in the Oil & Gas business. It allows to represent complex projects in simple and standardized terms and to make quick, high-level, comparisons of different scenarios or options designed with different givens, decisions and under uncertain inputs. As a Development Engineer I was responsible for the design and delivery of training on PetroVR to a wide community of users both at corporate and Business Units level. I played a central role in eliciting new requirements and making sure they were incorporated in the software developer´s road-map. As a dedicated advisor on PetroVR for Caesar Systems in Maersk Oil, I was responsible for assisting new users in the creation of models and for the capture and share of knowledge throughout the organization. The job included senior stakeholder management, frequent travel to the Business Units to support different stages of the decision-making process and overall to keep customer satisfaction at the highest levels in order to consolidate the use of the system in the company. I played a very important role in the adoption of the software also becoming the first point of contact for commercial topics. My key contributions included the creation, together with the Knowledge Manager, of the PetroVR Community Website that contains all the information required to support the development ladder of PetroVR, including system updates, super user´s testimonials, projects list, manuals, guidelines of different types, templates, economic models and numerous links to external sites.

As a Regional Manager for New Holland, I was responsible for managing a network of construction machinery official distributors in Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia. The job included the preparation of sales plans and their associated production forecasts, negotiations with key accounts, the coordination of training programs with the rest of Latin America, Europe and the US and the delivery of marketing activities including new products launches. My key contributions included winning a huge public tender, redesigning the network in tight time and without negative legal or economic impact, homogenizing the visual identity of the channels and consolidating the Chilean business in the mining sector.

As Global Marketing Manager for hydraulic lubricants, I was responsible for the volume, market share and profitability results and for the definition of product´s strategy. The job included my participation in R&D projects together with the technology and the logistics managers, the evaluation of technical trends of the OEMs, the standardization entities and the additives manufacturer and carrying out tests associated with products lubricity, life, cleanliness, energy efficiency and environmental impact and disposal. My key contributions included the design and delivery of a new customer value proposition for the multi-grades hydraulic fluids, based on a new range of products, with revitalized specifications, lower additives dosages and costs, higher price positioning and the design of the associated marketing plan and training program.

As Regional Marketing Manager for factory maintenance lubricants, I was responsible for the implementation of the global initiatives in the Latin American market. The job included the evaluation of each country´s performance, the preparation of Business, Marketing, Sales and Communications plans and the adaptation of the global portfolio of products to the particularities of each local Operating Unit. My key contributions included the design and delivery of an Industry Sales Academy to develop the technical and sales competences of the direct sales force and a network of official distributors, the participation in the Global Power Sector Team that shaped the future of the customer value proposition for the power generations and distribution sectors and the rejuvenation and repositioning of the range of hydraulic lubricants.

As a Business Consultant in Shell International, I was member of a team of around 50, providing support to the Operating Units in Oil & Gas downstream, Gas and Power and Renewables. The projects we were involved with included a very wide range of themes as full country reviews, organizational change, channel management enhancements, brand re-positioning and development of strategic alliances and lasted between a few weeks and several months. My key contributions included the set-up of a B2B technical services unit in Mexico, the analysis and reconfiguration of the commercial sales structure in South Africa, the design of a plan to regain the leadership in the lubricants market in Italy, the roll-out of the company´s Global Commercial Strategy and the evaluation of key markets to lunch the pilot for an energy services company (ESCOs) that generated value reducing energy consumptions in big industries by applying the technology and processes developed for the most efficient Shell refineries.

As a Industrial Services Manager for Argentina, I was responsible for creating the business case, getting the approval from senior management, setting up the new unit (including the selection of the team and the acquisition of the equipment), developing and delivering the customer value proposition. The unit complemented the portfolio of industrial lubricants and fuels, increased profitability and was vital to secure long term contracts with key customers in the most challenging sectors: steel and cement, power generation and food.

My role included advice on the selection of lubricants, demonstration of the key advantages of Shell´s products, price and payment terms negotiation, coordination of training and promotional activities and sharing lessons learned with the Global Account Managers and the sector Steel and Cement manufacturing sector teams. My key contributions included the design and delivery of long term agreements major customers, a contribution to the development of a range of hydraulic fluids with leak tracers, the design of a logistic scheme to deliver products in special containers, the technical survey of the delivery of the newly introduced petroleum coke from the refinery and the successful negotiation of a contract for the long-term supply of coal from Bellambi in Australia.

As a Technical Advisor in Argentina, I was member of a team of around 15, providing technical support to direct and indirect customers of fuels, lubricants and bitumens. My role included the support of Shell´s Rapid Lubricants Analysis, a world class key component of predictive maintenance programs of propulsion, generation and auxiliary machinery in merchant vessels. My key contributions included the development of training material, general public communications and carrying out the local tests for the launch of the Helix range of lubricants, the introduction to the market of the first unleaded gasoline and the development of tailor-made lubricants to meet specific requirements from the processes oil market.
