MOV/AOV Program Manager for the Component Programs Engineering Group at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station.Responsibilities: Responsible for the development and implementation of the federally regulated Motor Operated Valve (MOV) Program at Palo Verde. Duties include ensuring program meets all federal regulations and requirements as governed by ASME Code Case OMN-1, Generic Letters 89-10 & 96-05 and as enforced by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). My mission is to protect the health and safety of the public and to generate electricity safely and efficiently for today and into the future. Also support Air Operated Valve Program as needed.

Member of the Oxygen Hazard Analysis Group - responsible for testing materials and oxygen systems used in pressurized enriched oxygen atmospheres such as those found aboard NASA spacecraft and inside the International Space Station. Helped to develop astronaut training as well as training for several industries that utilize oxygen systems. The training focused on fire hazards associated with pressurized enriched oxygen atmospheres and the use of pressurized oxygen systems in the medical, industrial and research industries. Duties included designing test stands, preparing test samples, setting up tests, conducting tests, capturing and analyzing test results. Was also responsible for designing the database used for storing test data. Worked as a team lead in a storage development test lab coordinating testing and maintaining lab network security. Helped develop small business data storage systems as well as large enterprise data storage systems (banks, military, etc..) Was selected by my group to present one of our small business data storage units to IBM executives from around the globe at IBM headquarters in San Jose, CA.

While at the NMSU Astronomy Department I was responsible for gathering data downloaded from the Hubble Space Telescope via the Marshall Space Flight Center. We also present new data on WW Cyg, X Tri, and RV Psc obtained with the New Mexico State University Clyde Tombaugh Campus Observatory 16 inch Meade telescope equipped with a SBIG ST-8 CCD camera and standard BVRI filters. Integration times ranged from 15 sec to 2 min. We presented modeling of these data and previously published data using the light curve synthesis program ``Binary Maker 2.0" by D. Bradstreet. We discussed our results in relation to the disagreement between spectroscopically and photometrically determined spectral types. I was included in several published works associated with this research and also had the honor of presenting some of this research at several professional American Astronomical Society conferences around the US and Canada.
