Experienced R&D and Innovation Manager based on a combination of more than 20 years of experience in Business Development across several markets ranging from ICT, communication & design, optoelectronics, tech transfer and AECOO industry as well as a solid scientific background (BSc in Physics (UAB) specialized in Optics and Master in Environmental Engineering (UPC).As R&D manager, IDP has been involved in more than ten Horizon 2020 EU projects, acting in three of them as coordinators, as well as several other International and national R&D competitive proposals. This accumulated knowledge creation is driven to strongly underpin the so-called New Business Roadmap, like the IDP Digital business created in 2018, focused on Building Digital Twin which is currently a successful reality with more than 1M€ aggregate revenue in this brand-new set of services. In addition to his, acting as coordinator of SPHERE (820805) - LC-EEB-06-2018-20, the first EU project focused on Digital Twin Environments for Construction Sector, I lead to create the Building Digital Twin Association, where I am currently the president and ambassador.
