About Eduardo Morillo

Currently working as a Systems Engineer at the Flight Controls Department (AutoFlight) at Collins Aerospace - a division of RTX Corporation.Worked at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University within the Advanced Dynamics and Control Lab doing research on flight health monitoring, embedded systems, and path planning topics for UAVs (Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles). Additionally, worked giving instruction for Aerospace Senior students for AE443: Experimental Dynamics & Control Lab.I have experience with the manufacturing process, software implementation, design, testing, and integration of electronic components for UAVs in the United States and Ecuador. This has encouraged me to be interested in the Flight Dynamics & Control area, and to work towards the development of new aircraft control system designs that will improve autonomous aerial transportation within the next decades.I believe that programs of research and development for aircraft and spacecraft over the last century have opened the doors to a whole new era of human knowledge inside the aerospace engineering field, and I also believe that more progress and work is required to overcome complex engineering challenges such as intelligent-autonomous controllers, zero-carbon emission technology, and the colonization of Mars. I am willing to help overcome those challenges!
